  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside in my parsonage house, and have no Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: I have one benefice only.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I perform divine service at no church besides my own.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Divine service is perform'd in my church twice on the Lord's day, with a sermon in the morning.

  5. Frequency of communion: Four times every year. The number of communicants at each sacrament is various & uncertain; but I don't recollect at any time to have more than thirty, or less than fifteen.

  6. Catechising of children: Generally every year on three or four successive sundays about Whitsuntide.

  7. Church fabric: The church, chancel & church-yard are in good repair, & well kept, & we have all things decent for divine service.

  8. Glebe terrier: We cannot find a copy of any terrier; but we have reason to think that a terrier of the Glebe-lands, houses &c, is lodg'd in your Lordships registry.

  9. Number of families: Between seventy & eighty.

  10. Chapels: There is a chapel within my parish serv'd by myself; I am paid forty shillings a year by the Church-wardens for reading prayers in it once a month.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: I don't know that I have a single papist or dissenter in my parish.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: We have no publick school, Alms-house, hospital, & other charitable endowment; nor any parochial library.

  13. Charity: The poor of this parish are entitled to an annuity of seven pounds charg'd upon certain lands in Canterbury at present in the possession of Tho Hartup Esqr: The annuity is duly paid, & regularly distributed by the Minister and Churchwardens according to the intention of the Donor.

    Priest's orders and institution: I was ordain'd Priest March 14th 1773 & on the day following was collated to the Rectory of Little Torrington.
